Liz Pounsett

Portsmouth-based artist Liz Pounsett creates surreal and unusual artwork which provokes a reaction and, often, an element of fun. Working mainly in collage, she combines her own photographs, found images and pages from second-handbooks. Her love for urban art is a theme that she often returns to.

After studying graphic design and then art, Liz went on to pursue a career in teaching. She currently teaches, part-time, in Portsmouth where and manages the art curriculum. Liz splits her week between teaching and studio time.

Recent exhibitions include Oxo Tower Wharf and the Truman Brewery, London at Roy’s Art Fair.
