Tom Mullany

Tom Mullany has lived most of his life in the Washington, D.C. area but has his roots also in the Midwest. He received his degree from the Corcoran School of Art in Washington DC and began a career in the Art World in the downtown of that city. His art is in private and public collections there and around the U.S., as well as over seas.

There are many different mediums and genres he engages. Sculpture, oil painting, printmaking, gouache on paper., etc.. His subject matter is wide ranging; from nocturnal landscapes to blinding sunsets... drawing and painting from the model to imagined, improvised figurative work... his History paintings range from well researched recreations of places and events throughout world history to fantastic allegories based in reality.... and Memory paintings, recreating autobiographical scenes that strike him visually and emotionally.
